There are more than 11,000 active medical cannabis patients and caregivers in the Nevada Medical Marijuana Registry (as of June 2024)
The Cannabis Compliance Board reports 15,435 registered cannabis agent card holders working in the state (as of December 2023)
In the 2024 Fiscal Year, there was a $13 Million drop in total cannabis excise tax revenues (down from $133M in FY 2023). Similarly, between FY 2023-2024, taxable cannabis sales fell by nearly $19 Million.
Between 2021 to 2024, cannabis excise tax revenues have fallen at a compound annual growth rate of -8.6%. In the same period, taxable cannabis sales have fallen at a compound annual growth rate of - 6.16%.
